Co-Founder & Director
Velvet Curtain Theatre

Nishtha Paliwal is a theatre educator, performer, and creative facilitator with over a decade of experience in stage performance and theatre-based learning.

She currently serves as a Visiting Theatre Faculty at The British School, New Delhi.

As Co-Founder, she leads a multi-age theatre ecosystem blending classical and contemporary training approaches.

Manmeet Singh Taneja

Manmeet is a versatile actor known for his work in theatre, web series, and commercials.

His screen credits include Netflix’s Feels Like Ishq and Amazon Prime Video’s Adhura.

Active in theatre since 2015, he bridges live theatre with digital storytelling.

Performer, writer, and facilitator with an MA in Performance Studies from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi.

His work spans community arts, theatre-making, and education.

Our Process

1. Understanding the Context
We assess the age group, objectives, duration, and setting to align the program with participant needs.
2. Program Design
Sessions are structured using theatre tools such as games, improvisation, movement, voice, storytelling, and role-play.
3. Facilitated Sessions
Participants engage in guided exercises that build comfort, creativity, and confidence in a safe and inclusive environment.
4. Skill Integration
Activities are progressively layered to strengthen expression, teamwork, emotional awareness, and stage presence.
5. Showcase / Reflection (Where Applicable)
Sessions may culminate in a performance, sharing, or reflective experience depending on the program format.
